CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Technician in Oakland to repair and maintain a wide range of commercial equipment, including air conditioning systems, boilers, and ice machines. The role requires strong customer relations, safety awareness, and the ability to work in diverse environments.

With 5+ years in the field and EPA certification, you’ll join a team that values reliability, hands-on expertise, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC & Refrigeration experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, balance and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC and Refrigeration equipment (air conditioning, motors, boilers, ice machines, walk-ins, etc.).
• Diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure reliable operation.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer service standards.
