Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a skilled Service Technician to repair and overhaul HVAC equipment for commercial customers. You will work across refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery of service requests.

Candidates should have 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. On-call availability and independent work are required; opportunities for growth and ongoing

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certification and high school diploma/GED.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul of equipment including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices.
• Perform general repair on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
• Test malfunctioning systems and maintain accurate records of work history.
• Process job tickets and orders for department coordination.
• Assist with picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Participate in minor construction and installation startups.
