Job summary

Intermountain Temperature Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to join our growing refrigeration and HVAC team. This role focuses on diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, EPA 608 certification, and a commitment to quality service.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of commercial refrigeration experience.
EPA 608 certification required.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with walk-in coolers and freezers.
Experience with undercounter refrigeration.
Experience with commercial ice machines.
Rack refrigeration experience is a plus.
Dependable, motivated, and professional.
Willing to learn and expand technical skills.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
Service walk-in coolers and freezers, undercounter refrigeration, ice machines, and other commercial refrigeration equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
Communicate clearly with customers and office staff regarding repairs and recommendations
Complete service documentation accurately
Participate in the company on-call rotation
Travel occasionally to service locations up to approximately 3 hours away
