Job summary

i-Pharm GxP is seeking an experienced HVAC Construction Lead to oversee field supervision, contractor coordination, and delivery of HVAC systems on a complex pharmaceutical project in Indiana. This on-site, 12-month contract role emphasizes QA/QC and successful turnover of HVAC systems.

You will supervise HVAC engineers and subcontractors, coordinate with CSA, piping, E&I, and commissioning teams, drive safe, high-quality installations, and support client handover and inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC construction on industrial or life sciences projects.
• Experience in a senior supervisory or construction lead role.
• Proven ability to supervise HVAC systems installation and turnover.
• Strong ability to read HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Knowledge of QA/QC, safety and quality standards on complex sites.
• Experience with pre-commissioning, testing, and system handover.

Responsibilities

• Act as the QA/QC engineer for all HVAC construction activities, with a strong focus on supervision, coordination, and delivery.
• Oversee and direct HVAC engineers, foremen, and subcontractors across multiple work fronts.
• Plan, sequence, and manage HVAC installation works including ductwork, AHUs, chillers, piping interfaces, and cleanroom systems.
• Drive safe, compliant, and high-quality installation practices across all HVAC scopes.
• Lead system completion efforts including walkdowns, punch management, and turnover readiness.
• Coordinate with CSA, piping, E&I, and commissioning teams for seamless handover.
• Review and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, schematics, and technical docs.
• Provide technical guidance and field leadership to resolve installation issues and sequencing challenges.
• Oversee pre-commissioning activities including pressure testing and balancing readiness.
• Ensure accurate reporting of progress, system status, and turnover documentation.
• Support client walkdowns, inspections, and final HVAC handover.
