MIELKE Mechanical Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our Tampa team.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftops, boilers, chillers, and split systems, ensuring peak performance. The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of installation experience, EPA Universal Certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with maintaining a wide range of commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Must be able to work on chillers and boilers.
• Completion of trade/vocational school or equivalent on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive maintenance and diagnostic service on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Responding to service calls and troubleshooting a variety of HVAC issues efficiently and effectively.
• Completing repair work on HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and more.
• Ensuring systems are operating at peak performance through detailed testing, adjustments, and performance analysis.
• Communicating clearly with clients about system issues, repair options, and recommended solutions.
• Documenting all service activities, materials used, and system conditions in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and company vehicle, while adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
• Supporting long-term client relationships through exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
