Orionplacement is seeking a senior HVAC/plumbing designer for our Sandy, Utah office. This on-site role focuses on developing detailed HVAC and plumbing system designs for commercial buildings using Revit, collaborating with engineers and architects.

Candidates need 5+ years of commercial HVAC and/or plumbing design experience and hands-on Revit proficiency. The salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC and/or plumbing system design experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Revit for HVAC or plumbing design.
• Solid understanding of commercial building systems, drawings, and coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and architectural teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed HVAC and/or plumbing system designs for commercial projects.
• Create and coordinate mechanical drawings and 3D models in Revit.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams on design solutions.
• Produce accurate design documentation, layouts, and drawings.
• Identify and resolve design challenges while ensuring coordination across systems.
• Support project delivery from design through construction.
