Jobot in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced Permanent Project Manager to oversee Mechanical/HVAC projects. You will guide the full project lifecycle, from planning through handover, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards across our construction portfolio.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in construction PM, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with HVAC and plumbing installations, plus proficiency with PM software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in project management within construction, Mechanical/HVAC.
• Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk and change management.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Experience coordinating plumbing installations and reading engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of projects from inception to completion.
• Develop full-scale project plans and communications documents and convey expectations clearly.
• Identify dependencies, critical paths, and deliver progress reports and proposals.
• Proactively manage changes in scope and devise contingency plans.
• Estimate resources and determine need for staff/consultants; recruit as needed.
• Direct development from start to finish and delegate tasks to personnel.
• Coordinate HVAC and plumbing installations per specifications and codes.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored properly.
