ProSource Group in Nassau County, Long Island is seeking an experienced Purchaser for an office-based role managing equipment and material procurement across mechanical construction projects.

You will purchase HVAC equipment, review drawings, coordinate with Project Managers, track orders and deliveries, and ensure timely procurement for multiple sites. The position offers a company benefits package and interview-based details.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC or mechanical construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications and equipment schedules.

Responsibilities

• Purchase HVAC equipment, materials and mechanical components.
• Review drawings, specifications and equipment schedules.
• Complete equipment buyouts and obtain vendor pricing.
• Track purchase orders, lead times and deliveries.
• Coordinate procurement with Project Managers, manufacturers and suppliers.
