Job summary

Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is hiring for residential HVAC installation specialists. You will assemble and install heating and air-conditioning units, design and install ductwork and piping, and maintain detailed logs of work performed.

Your role emphasizes delivering superior service during customer interactions and completing special projects as needed. We require at least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license with 3+ years

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience; EPA Certified required.
• A valid driver's license with at least 3 years of US driving experience is required.
• Be able to remove and install all types of HVAC equipment (gas split systems, heat pumps...).
• Must have experience with installing low voltage controls on communicating equipment.
• Be able to overcome installation obstacles to get the job done correctly.
• Have knowledge of mechanical code and ensure all jobs pass city inspection.
• Be a good teacher to help apprentices grow in the company.
• Have good time management and project planning to reduce time on jobs and trips to supply house.
• You must be able to work in hot attics for extended periods and in tight spaces.
• Be well organized with tools and materials to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Have good communication skills with customers and management.
• Must have on hand tools.
• A2L certified is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install heating and air-conditioning units.
• Design and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping.
• Maintain accurate logs of all work performed.
• Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers.
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required.
