Job summary

Blue Sky Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is seeking an HVAC installer to install residential and light commercial equipment such as air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and related components. The role requires clear customer communication, adherence to safety standards, and reliable time management.

You will work with a team to ensure high-quality installations, maintain the vehicle and tools, and mentor apprentices while providing excellent service in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation and service.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Drug test and background check are mandatory.
• High level of English communication and safety awareness.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to perform tasks in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial equipment including A/C, heat pumps, and furnaces.
• Be on time for scheduled shifts and manage job time effectively.
• Obtain client signatures before and after work.
• Suggest appropriate system upgrades and process changes when beneficial.
• Maintain tools, parts, and vehicle in good condition and report issues promptly.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain work progress and results.
• Provide instructions and mentorship to apprentices when needed.
• Adhere to MO‑OSHA safety requirements and company policies.
