Job summary

Guardian Heating & Cooling Service in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to retrofit and replace residential heating and cooling systems. You will install ducted/ductless systems, boilers, and IAQ accessories, and supervise junior installers.

A valid EPA Type I/II or Universal certification is required, with 3 years of experience and a valid driver's license. We offer a company vehicle, gas card, uniform, phone, and opportunities for industry certification and dealer training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in residential HVAC retrofit and system replacement.
• Experience supervising installation teams or acting as crew lead.
• Current EPA Type I & II or Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Retrofit / changeout of residential heating and cooling systems.
• Install ducted and ductless systems and indoor air quality accessories.
• Install boilers, radiant heat, and steam systems.
• Test and balance systems and ensure quality workmanship.
• Consult with customers and supervise/install teams; train new installers.
