Job summary

Mericle Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Installation Technician to support our HVAC division. This position installs HVAC equipment, controls, piping and duct board on new and existing buildings, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC installation experience, an associate degree or higher in a mechanical field, and strong attention to detail. We offer comprehensive benefits, generous holidays, paid time off, and company-paid health insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Installation Technician.
• Associates degree or higher in Mechanical Field/Technology preferred.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple simultaneous assignments.
• Ability to work as a self-directed individual with minimum supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to take field measurements to design and draw HVAC and Plumbing layouts.

Responsibilities

• Install packaged rooftop units.
• Fabricate and install fiberboard ductwork.
• Install flex duct, diffusers and grills.
• Install exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Install split systems and ductless split systems, refrigerant pipe and condensate pipe.
• Perform work safely according to company standards using proper PPE.
