Job summary

MIH Systems Group is seeking experienced HVAC technicians to start up, commission, and service commercial equipment across New Jersey. You will calibrate ventilation, humidity, and energy management settings while ensuring occupant comfort and energy efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in the field, knowledge of RTUs, water-source heat pumps, and rooftop packaged systems, EPA universal certification, OSHA 30 preferred, and strong communication with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC field experience.
• Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps, and rooftop packaged systems.
• Demonstrated startup/commissioning experience.
• Experience mentoring others in the field.
• EPA Universal certification.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Self-directed, strong communicator, punctual.

Responsibilities

• Start up, commission, and service commercial HVAC equipment.
• Calibrate, verify, and adjust ventilation, humidity, and energy management settings.
• Troubleshoot and repair across air-conditioning and heating systems.
• Support and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate with clients and internal teams.
