Job summary

Ramboll Americas is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in our Binghamton, NY office. You will design and engineer HVAC and related systems, coordinating with other disciplines to produce construction drawings and RevIt-based designs. You will also develop early-stage concepts, cost estimates, and energy assessments for building projects, with site visits required.

The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of HVAC experience, and a PE is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
• Licensed professional engineer strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer HVAC and related systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to produce final construction drawings and details.
• Develop conceptual designs and cost estimates for early project stages.
• Create design drawings using Revit 3D design software.
• Visit job sites for projects involving upfits; some domestic trips required.
