Matrix Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer for our Maumee, OH headquarters.

This salaried role requires an active PE license and leadership experience, with responsibility for HVAC design quality, client interaction, and development of standard practices across projects. The position involves overseeing a team, performing load calculations, energy modeling, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary staff to deliver mechanical system designs for commercial and industrial

Qualifications

• Active PE license required.
• 6+ years of Mechanical Engineer-HVAC experience.
• 6+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC design consulting.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE code for comfort cooling and ventilation.
• Leadership or project-leader experience.
• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Willing to travel up to 10% per year and have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit; LEED knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to HVAC and plumbing system design projects.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and interface with clients.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and optimization.
• Develop construction documents, reports, and specs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Mentor project personnel and support proposal development.
• Maintain client relations and identify new work opportunities.
• Coordinate budgets and schedules with project managers.
