Job summary

SolveNow Inc. in Tempe, AZ seeks a Senior HVAC Design Technician to lead development of complex industrial HVAC and Process Exhaust systems for advanced facilities.

In this role you will design, layout, and route mechanical systems, develop P&IDs and construction details, and coordinate with clients and internal teams, reporting to the Tempe office two days per week. Requires 8+ years AutoCAD, 4+ years Revit, 5+ years industrial mechanical design, and strong IMC knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 8+ years of AutoCAD design experience.
• 4+ years of Revit design experience.
• 5+ years of industrial building mechanical design experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes, specifically the IMC.
• Demonstrated ability to independently execute design packages with minimal supervision.
• Candidate must be able to report to the Tempe office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial building mechanical systems.
• Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details.
• Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design.
• Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines.
• Apply expert knowledge of building mechanical systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Fast-paced environment with a high degree of independence, technical judgment, and initiative.
