Job summary

BR+A Consulting Engineers in Boston, MA is seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Control Specialist to lead building automation and MEP/FP integration on major projects. The ideal candidate will own assignments, work both independently and with project teams, and ensure designs meet code requirements.

Responsibilities include QA of mechanical and BAS systems, coordinating with arch/structural teams, improving templates and BAS library, and providing QC training to staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE License is required.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in mechanical/HVAC projects.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance reviews of Mechanical Systems and Building Automation Systems and provide feedback on improvements.
• Confirm designs meet current code requirements.
• Identify errors and redraw items correctly.
• Improve detail and accuracy of plans and specs.
