Job summary

Venergy Group is seeking a Lead HVAC/Chiller Technician to maintain and repair commercial mechanical systems, focusing on chillers and related equipment. The role requires diagnosing electrical and mechanical components, mentoring junior technicians, and traveling to customer sites across the country.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance schedules, documenting work, and ensuring safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC and chiller systems including electrical components.
• Proven diagnostic and problem‑solving ability with critical thinking.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Ability to train and mentor junior technicians effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on chillers, AHUs, pumps, cooling towers, valves, VAV systems, and related equipment.
• Diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electrical components and implement fixes.
• Oversee installation and operation of mechanical systems at customer sites.
• Coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedules and communicate delays to customers.
• Be available for nights or weekends for emergency service requirements.
• Document all work thoroughly with equipment data and photos.
