Sargent & Lundy in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking a highly skilled individual to join their team in high voltage substation design. This role involves preparing design deliverables and providing technical guidance to new designers. The ideal candidate must have at least 12 years of relevant experience and an Associate's Degree in drafting.

A hybrid work arrangement allows for flexibility, spending three days in the office and two days working remotely. An attractive compensation range of $85,679 - $130,899 is offered along with award-winning benefits.

Formación

• 12 or more years of experience in the preparation and review of wiring diagrams for high voltage substations (138kV and above).
• Strong ability to multi-task on various projects.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation of Single Line Relaying & Metering Diagrams.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to new designers.
• Conducting walkdowns at client substation facilities.

Conocimientos

Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer

Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation)

Knowledge of design techniques and principles

Ability to multi-task from project to project

Knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology

Educación

Associate's Degree in drafting or equivalent technical experience
