Job summary

LUZCO Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Physical Substation Engineer in St. Louis to lead the design of high-voltage substations (69kV–345kV). This on-site role involves mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in physical substation design with a proven track record.
• PE license preferred, or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Strong understanding of NESC, IEEE, NEC, and utility standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high-voltage substations and own design packages from concept through IFC.
• Collaborate with internal teams and act as a technical resource for troubleshooting.
• Interface directly with utility clients to clarify scope and resolve design challenges.
