Microwave Power Products (MPP) in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician to troubleshoot high‑voltage and RF systems at the component level in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering to diagnose failures, repair HV/DC power supplies, RF test gear, and legacy equipment while upholding strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field; military/trade experience considered.
• 5+ years troubleshooting industrial electronic equipment, RF systems, HV systems or similar.
• Strong analog and digital electronics fundamentals.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation support.
• Familiarity with high‑voltage safety procedures and stored energy hazards.
• DoD security clearance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high‑voltage electronic and manufacturing equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Diagnose failures at component, wiring, chassis, module, and system levels.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC power systems and control circuits.
• Document troubleshooting findings and repair actions clearly.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineering on legacy-to-next‑gen transitions.
