Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) in Virginia, Bristol, responsible for managing LV & HV/EHV operations and ensuring safety compliance. This role involves creating switching schedules and managing construction teams within electrical networks up to 132kV. Candidates must have a DNO Certificate of Authorisation, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety. The role includes travel and potential on-call duties, with a competitive salary range based on experience.

Qualifications

• Authorised to conduct switching operations from 11kV to 33kV.
• Possess a current DNO or equivalent Certificate of Authorisation.
• Strong understanding of current regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan outages and produce switching programmes.
• Isolate and earth high-voltage electrical networks, issue safety documents.
• Lead training and mentoring of trainee SAPs.
