Form Energy is hiring a Senior Control Panel Designer to influence the development and validation of our groundbreaking battery technology. You’ll own the full lifecycle of industrial panel design, from component selection and schematic development to vendor coordination and high-voltage validation.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure safety and compliance, and help scale a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related) with 5+ years of panels experience.
• Experience designing panels to NEC and UL 508A requirements.
• Hands-on high-voltage testing procedures and safety protocols.
• Experience coordinating with third-party panel fabrication vendors.
• Familiarity with PLM tools (Arena/Team Center) and Jira/JAMA for requirements.

Mansioni

• Design control panels in compliance with NEC (NFPA 70) and UL 508A.
• Develop complete panel schematic, layout and BOM using EPLAN.
• Select panel components (connectors, harnesses, breakers, transformers, etc.).
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to translate design into built assemblies.
• Lead high-voltage testing procedures and validate insulation and functionality.
