Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration from a recognized college.
• Experience in a public agency or private industry performing professional accounting/auditing.
• Ability to supervise and review the work of other accounting staff.
• Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for a human services agency and assist in audits.
• Perform professional auditing and accounting work of relatively complex nature.
• Prepare financial statements and related auditing records for federal/state reporting.
• Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with year-end close.
• Support budget and procurement processes, including vouchers and invoices.
