CONMED is seeking a strategic Senior Human Resources Business Partner to partner with business leaders and drive talent strategies across the organization. This on-site role in Largo, FL focuses on talent management, leadership development, and workforce planning to build a high-performance culture.

You will coach leaders, manage employee relations, and enable organizational effectiveness while leveraging HR analytics to inform decisions and support growth.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and/or SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification preferred.

CONMED is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Human Resources leader to partner with business leaders across the organization. This role is critical in driving talent strategies that support growth, engagement, organizational effectiveness, and performance in a dynamic and evolving environment.As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing expertise in talent management, employee relations, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning. You will help shape culture, coach leaders, and ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.This position is located on-site in our Largo, FL office.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational objectives, ensuring workforce plans support current and future business needs.Leadership Coaching: Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on performance management, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and employee-related matters.Talent Management: Lead talent review, succession planning, and development initiatives that build leadership capability and promote a high-performance culture.Employee Relations: Partner with leaders to address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure consistent application of policies and employment practices.Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives that strengthen engagement, inclusion, retention, and the overall employee experience.Change Management: Support organizational changes and business transformation efforts through effective communication, planning, and leader enablement.Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership to identify talent needs, organizational capabilities, and development opportunities that support future growth.HR Analytics: Leverage workforce data and insights to identify trends, mitigate risk, and inform talent and organizational decisions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and other HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated HR solutions.QualificationsExperience: 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR leadership role.Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and/or SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Expertise: Demonstrated experience in employee relations supporting a sales team, talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.Influence: Proven ability to build strong partnerships, influence leaders at all levels, and drive results in a matrixed environment.Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how people strategies support and accelerate business performance.Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing business needs.Bonus Points: Experience in medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or commercial environments.What We're Looking ForPassionate about developing talent and building high-performing organizations.A strategic thinker who can translate business challenges into people solutions.A trusted advisor who builds credibility and influences through strong relationships.A data-driven decision maker who balances business objectives with employee experience.An agile leader who embraces change and thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.This role is not eligible for sponsorship.This job posting is anticipated to close on 12/01/2026.
