  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-functional HR environment is strongly preferred.

Pay Range: Hiring/Starting pay range is $82,625 - $105,347/annualized, based on experience.

Position Purpose

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR function and partnering with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of HR activities across employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, training and development, and HR operations. Your ability to provide sound HR guidance and your strong interpersonal skills will be essential in fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Engagement

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, addressing grievances, and resolving workplace conflicts. Partner with leaders to promote inclusive practices and drive employee engagement and workplace satisfaction. Assist in the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and providing insights to support continuous improvement.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Oversee full‑cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation to attract top talent. Serves as the point of contact for new hires, coordinating all pre‑employment processes (e.g., background checks, drug screens, MVRs, physicals). Communicate start dates and orientation schedules, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. Collaborate with hiring managers to create or update job descriptions and establish effective hiring criteria.

Performance Management & Development

Guide managers through the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and delivering effective feedback. Support leadership development and employee growth through training initiatives, including compliance training and new hire orientation. Recommend and implement training programs to build capability and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Compensation & Benefits

In partnership with the CHRO and Total Rewards Manager, review compensation practices and conduct job evaluations to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness. Provide input on salary recommendations, pay adjustments, and overall rewards strategy. Support employees and leaders in understanding benefits offerings and addressing related questions.

HR Operations & Compliance

Assist employees and leaders with leave administration, including FMLA and related compliance requirements. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with data protection regulations. Recommend and implement improvements to HR policies, procedures, and practices based on industry trends and organizational needs. Independently manage HR‑related projects or initiatives as assigned by the CHRO or HR Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment; acts with professionalism, discretion, and integrity. Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and organizational dynamics; able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. Skilled in employee relations, conflict resolution, and building trust; excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels. Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills; able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with attention to detail. Analytical thinker with a proven ability to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and provide consultative support to leaders. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence others, and support a positive workplace culture. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and capable of learning HCM and applicant tracking systems quickly. Experience supporting talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and culture‑building initiatives. Valid Colorado Driver’s License required.
