- Own the onboarding process from accepted offer through an employee's first weeks, including pre-employment requirements, Form I-9/E-Verify completion, HRIS setup, benefits information, orientation, policy acknowledgments and equipment and access coordination
- Own the offboarding process, including separation documentation, coordination of system and facility access removal, equipment return, and exit interviews

- Manage employee leave programs, including FMLA and other applicable leave requirements, and maintain accurate records and employee communications throughout the process
- Coordinate workplace accommodations, including ADA and PWFA requests, and support employees and managers through the accommodation and return-to-work process
- Partner with managers to address performance and attendance concerns, provide guidance on documentation and corrective action, and navigate difficult employee conversation
- Coordinate employee status changes, including promotions, compensation changes, bonuses, leaves, and other employee updates
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
- Partner with leadership on HR policies, practices, employee experience, organizational needs, and practical process improvements as the company continues to grow
- Provide light workplace and office coordination as needed, including employee equipment needs, office supplies, building or vendor requests, and other routine workplace matters
- Support a positive employee experience by remaining accessible and responsive while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of progressively responsible human resources experience, preferably in a broad HR Generalist capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field; or relevant experience
- Hands-on experience managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes from beginning to end
- Strong working knowledge of federal employment requirements and familiarity with state-specific employment considerations
- Proven experience independently handling complex employee relations issues and workplace investigations, with strong judgment to assess risks and escalating matters as needed
- Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and sensitive matters without losing attention to detail
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build credibility with employees, managers, senior leadership, and external partners
- Ability to translate business needs into practical HR recommendations, policies, processes, and manager guidance.
- Comfort working in a growing organization where processes, responsibilities, and priorities may evolve.
