Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to lead a regional HR Advisory team across the Americas, including the U.S., Bermuda and Canada. You will translate global HR strategies into local execution and partner with global HRBPs and regional leaders to deliver high-impact people solutions.

You will mentor leaders, drive consistency in HR practices, and champion an inclusive culture while advancing people analytics and change initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience of regional teams.
  • Strong strategic and stakeholder-management skills with global/regional collaboration.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic people leader responsible for overseeing a team of HR professionals across the Americas Region, including the U.S., Bermuda and Canada.

What you’ll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Ensure high-quality HR support across global and diverse client groups in the Americas region by leading, mentoring and developing a high performing HR Advisory team supporting U.S., Canada, and Bermuda..
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex employee relations, performance management, organizational challenges, and stakeholder dynamics, elevating team capability in judgement, influence, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Drive consistency in HR practices and strengthen partnerships with Global HRBPs and regional HR leaders to deliver cohesive, high-impact people solutions.
  • Continuously review our HR processes starting with our clients and a focused, fit and fast mindset. Play a leadership role in automation and data usage.
  • Build strong, trusted relaionships with Global HR Business Partners to understand and support AXA XL’s human capital strategies, talent management and developmentpriorities. .
  • Translate global HR strategies into effective local execution across the Americas.
  • Partner with the Centers of Excellence (CoE) to implement regional and local policies and procedures.Build, maintain, and manage strong cross-functional partnerships to to anticipate situations requiring training, curriculum development and/or changes in policies, procedures, regulations, or technologies.
  • Facilitate, gather and consolidate feedback relating to staff engagement – develop solutions with the senior leaders to address concern areas or realize areas of high potential.
  • Serve as an escalation point challenge, and coach business leaders on how to engage colleagues, address people issues and build people capabilities effectively.
  • Guide and ensure adherence to the local HR policies and practices, adapting to country-specific requirements and constraints.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and solutions-oriented team culture.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $227,500 USD.

Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
