Job summary

Lutron Electronics in Ashland, VA is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to lead the site's safety strategy across manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations.

You will develop and continuously improve HSE programs, drive regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA, investigate incidents, mentor the HSE team, and partner with site leadership to maintain a safe, compliant, and high‑performing workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years in HSE management with at least 5 years in leadership in manufacturing/warehouse/distribution.
• CSP, ISHS, CIH or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA regulations, incident investigation and risk assessment.
• Onsite five days per week; U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the site's HSE management system.
• Foster a proactive safety culture through engagement, training, and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA and all local/state/federal regs.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and manage environmental programs.
• Maintain HSE metrics, scorecards, and TRIR performance reporting.
• Work with Wellness Center to support employee health initiatives.
• Develop and lead the site's HSE team and safety captains.
