Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES is seeking an HR Business Partner to support the West Coast region or Greater Chicago area. The role acts as a trusted advisor to production and lab leaders, guides labor relations, drives employee engagement, and tackles complex ER issues with California employment law in mind.

You’ll partner with Legal and HR Centers of Excellence, influence organization design, and balance strategic HR work with day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years HRBP experience; 5+ years HR resolving complex ER issues.
• Strong employee relations and engagement background.
• Experience supporting production or lab teams; food industry a plus.
• Fluency in California employment law.
• Proven coaching to leaders and driving organizational change.
• Ability to work independently as regional HRBP of one.
• Experience supporting 400+ employees across multiple locations.
• Strong multi-state employment practices knowledge.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR advisor to production and lab leaders across the West Coast.
• Lead labor relations strategies and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage complex employee relations issues with objectivity.
• Apply CA employment law knowledge to protect people and business.
• Influence organizational structure, change efforts, and people planning.
• Partner with Legal and HR Centers of Excellence to execute high-impact people strategies.
