You will oversee HRMS processes, training, and reporting, supervise HR assistants, and work to ensure compliance with Federal and Smithsonian

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Federal HR laws, regulations, and practices.
• Experience interpreting OPM classification and staffing rules.
• Ability to advise managers on HR actions and policy.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, staffing, and placement for Federal and Trust roles across occupational groups.
• Independently evaluate and classify positions using OPM standards.
• Advise on separation, RIF, and severance procedures and employee relations matters.
