GEO Secured Services in Adelanto, CA seeks a Senior Human Resource Specialist to provide advanced HR administrative and technical support across recruitment, payroll, and employee relations. This confidential role supports facility operations and ensures data integrity in the HRIS.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years in HR/payroll, strong knowledge of employment laws, and a demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HR or Business Management required; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in human resources or payroll.
• Proficiency with HRIS; strong analytical skills; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of HR concepts, practices, procedures and employment laws.
• Excellent organizational skills; high initiative and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality; effective communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced HR administrative and technical support including recruitment, employment activities, and personnel records.
• Manages employee relations, leave management, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Creates unique reports for HR compliance and audits; maintains data integrity in the HRIS.
• Oversees job postings, applicant screening, and coordination with hiring managers.
• Ensures adherence to EEO/AA policies and logs/documentation for required reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
