  • Experience in employee relations, including investigations and advising on disciplinary matters
  • Ability to travel to project sites 25%–40%
  • Preferred experience in industrial services, construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar project-based environment
  • HR Certification (SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field

Education & Experience

  • Ability to travel to project sites and field locations from 25% – 40%
  • Preferred Experience in industrial services, construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, or a similar project-based environment
  • HR Certification (SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Required Working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and statutes, with the ability to apply them to real-life situations to mitigate company risk
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and HRIS platforms (Workday preferred)
  • Ability to use HR metrics and workforce data to influence operational decisions and present recommendations to senior leadership
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-party investigations and advise leaders on high-risk employment decisions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Preferred Experience with union environments, collective-bargaining agreements, project labor agreements, or prevailing wage requirements
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, FR clothing) and follow site safety requirements when visiting project sites
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands as required for the position
  • Ability to work primarily in an office or professional work environment
  • May be required to work extended hours, weekends, or travel based on business needs
  • Regular use of computers, phones, and other standard office equipment
