Job summary

Arkema in the United States is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead the people strategy for the Specialty Surfactants business, partnering with senior leadership to align talent with business goals across organizational development and employee relations.

You will report to the CEO and President, work with the HR leadership team, and coordinate HR strategy for the US while supporting global operations. Travel up to 30% regionally and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of progressive HR experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading, coaching, and developing a team.
• Experience leading projects and change using workforce analytics and knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and risk management.
• Manufacturing industry, labor relations or union experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the people strategy for our Specialty Surfactants business across talent, organizational development, employee relations, culture, change management and more
• Work as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating business priorities into practical people strategies
• Report directly to the CEO and President of the business, with matrix reporting to the Sr. Director of HR Business Partners, overseeing HR strategy and execution for Specialty Surfactants in the US, HR oversight to China, consultative support to Brazil, with broader global involvement as needed

• Report directly to the CEO and President of the business, with a matrix reporting relationship to the Sr. Director of HR Business Partners, while overseeing HR strategy and execution for Specialty Surfactants in the US, HR oversight to China, consultative support to Brazil, with broader global involvement as needed
