Job summary

Capital Hospice & Palliative Care LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR activities for our hospice and palliative care organization. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Healthcare Administration or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in hospice/palliative care.
• At least 2 years of experience in recruitment and training.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations and CHAP requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently with autonomy and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily HR operations and implement HR policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, CHAP requirements related to HR and education.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, orientation, retention, and termination processes.
• Develop staffing plans with management and implement recruitment strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate recruitment effectiveness and costs.
• Research market compensation and benefits; advise leadership.
• Promote the organization as an employer of choice in the community.
• Assist with HR budget and manage resources within guidelines.
• Coordinate community recruitment events and staff education programs.
• Lead HR team members and maintain HR resources and confidentiality.
