Job summary

Nordic Ware, a respected American-made kitchenware leader based in Saint Louis Park, MN, seeks a Senior HR Generalist to partner with leaders across manufacturing and office operations. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, training, compensation and benefits while driving performance and engagement.

You will guide HR operations, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring teams and shaping culture in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field required; Master's is a plus.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience in multiple areas, including talent acquisition and employee relations.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, and office environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS; ADP reporting preferred.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience in a family-owned or privately held organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR partner to employees and leaders, advising on employee relations and performance management.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional/salaried roles and partner with managers on strategies.
• Oversee onboarding, training, compensation, benefits, recognition, and leave programs.
• Support performance management initiatives, coaching, and employee development.
• Drive employee engagement, culture-building, and internal communications.
• Assist with workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics to support business decisions and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies; support audits and reporting.
