Overview
Senior HR Data & Compensation Analyst
The Senior HR Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting complex HR data to provide insights that improve all parts of the employee lifecycle and employee engagement. The Senior Analyst will have an active role with analytic activities across the People Team with a focus on Compensation / Total Rewards analytic support, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to design dashboards, generate reports and develop models. This role will own HRIS data accuracy and ticket management (with a third party support vendor), partnering with the Total Rewards / HRIS Operations Leader on HRIS management.
This role is remote and US-based.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret HR data from sources such as HRIS, ATS, performance management, engagement platforms, and total reward forecasting.
- Submit and analyze compensation survey data and results.
- Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and senior leaders to provide insights that support People Team strategy.
- Create templates to bring efficiencies to HR processes.
- Develop, configure, and maintain dashboards and visualizations to monitor key HR metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, DEI, time-to-fill, compa-ratio) and provide data to the organization.
- Support workforce planning, compensation reviews, total reward forecasting, and talent analytics by delivering accurate and timely reporting, data analysis, and leadership presentations.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in workforce data and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across HR systems and analytics platforms.
- Drive automation of routine reports and streamline analytics processes.
- Support compliance reporting and ad hoc analyses (e.g., EEO, AAP, audits).
- Manage HRIS tickets with a third-party support vendor and support minor HRIS configuration needs.
- 4+ years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, or a related data-heavy HR role.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and platforms such as Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, or similar.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
- 2+ years of compensation experience
- Strong understanding of HR data and processes (recruiting, comp & benefits, employee relations, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

- The target pay range is $95,000 - $105,000, dependent on skills, experience, competencies, and location.
