Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Consultant to join its Managed Services team and serve as a trusted advisor to clients across the full spectrum of human resources.

This is a highly visible, client‑facing role requiring broad HR expertise, strong business acumen, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to translate HR challenges into practical, effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple HR disciplines.
• Strong ability to advise leaders on sensitive HR situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage client relationships and projects.
• Familiarity with billable hours and budgets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple client relationships and consulting engagements.
• Lead projects involving compensation, compliance, succession planning, talent management, and policy development.
• Advise clients on sensitive employee relations and workplace matters.
• Develop and present recommendations to executive and leadership teams.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, training, and other client sessions.
• Develop HR policies, programs, processes, tools, and resources.
• Manage projects, deadlines, deliverables, and changing client priorities.
• Maintain exceptional responsiveness and follow‑through with clients.
• Effectively manage billable‑hour expectations, project budgets, utilization goals, and time tracking.
• Collaborate with colleagues and subject‑matter experts to bring the right solutions to clients.
