The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Energy & Environment Cabinet, Office of Administrative Services, invites applications for a Human Resource Branch Manager. This role leads the HR Branch, ensuring efficient benefits and compensation administration and providing services to staff and management across departments.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and effective time management. Telecommuting may be authorized by the agency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five years of professional experience in Kentucky state government merit system HR administration or Kentucky governmental employee benefits administration.
• Substitute experience for education or for education options available: administrative, business research, clerical experience; military experience may substitute.

Responsabilités

• Perform all aspects of human resources management for the HR Branch.
• Manage, supervise and develop staff within the Branch.
• Provide guidance on HR issues and programs; approve leave requests and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide technical assistance to Cabinet staff in HR management.
• Review and approve all KHRIS actions prior to submission to the Personnel Cabinet.
• Monitor, oversee and submit monthly increment listings to the Personnel Cabinet.
• Conduct regular meetings with staff and management at all levels.
• Oversee the Cabinet's new employee orientation.
