Job summary

The State of Wyoming's Human Resources Division seeks a Senior Human Resources Associate to provide dedicated HR support to the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). You will partner with employees, supervisors, and leadership to deliver a broad range of HR services, including recruitment, payroll, onboarding, benefits, and leave administration.

As the HR liaison for DEQ, you’ll interpret policies, manage personnel records, and guide inquiries on HR procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 0-2 years HR experience; 3-5 years with substitution.
• Payroll experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HR laws and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions and answer payroll questions.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee records.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and leave administration.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliant personnel files and respond to inquiries.
