Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior HPC System Administrator to support a major national laboratory. You will manage Linux HPC environments (RHEL, Debian, CentOS, Fedora), install, upgrade, and troubleshoot at scale, and work with a team on the HPC system lifecycle.

You will develop and utilize scripting (shell, Python, Perl) to automate tasks, address security and network concerns, and support parallel file systems and interconnects.

Qualifications

• BS in a relevant discipline or 11 years of directly related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance.
• U.S. Citizen and work on site in Albuquerque, NM.
• Experience administering Linux-based HPC systems.

Responsibilities

• Install/provision/upgrade systems at scale, using configuration management and automation tools across environments.
• Configure and monitor HPC storage systems using software utilities, shell scripts, and command line interfaces.
• Identify and troubleshoot a variety of issues, and test and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and facilities staff in the delivery and deployment of large storage systems.
• Actively seek opportunities to broaden knowledge and proficiencies.
• Build professional development through mentorship and training.
