Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect focused on HPC to work with customers on large-scale cloud-based HPC solutions.

You will help design, architect and optimize HPC workloads, leveraging AWS services and GPU acceleration. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing strategy for national and enterprise customers, and delivering scalable, resilient architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executives or clients.
• Deep HPC experience in domains such as CAE, Weather Simulation, oil and gas, automotive/aerospace, finance, or pharma.
• Experience architecting HPC systems with schedulers and parallel file systems.
• Experience deploying, tuning, benchmarking and managing HPC technologies in multi-user environments.
• Deep GPU knowledge in HPC and/or AI/ML frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design customer solutions and architect HPC solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Engage with architects, account managers, and partners to define HPC engagement strategy.
• Provide thought leadership through publications, whitepapers, and internal training.
• Help ensure customer success in building and migrating apps on the AWS platform.
• Share best-practice knowledge across the worldwide AWS solution architect community.
