Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 4 to support HPC software across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.

The role involves integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and maintaining COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous systems, with emphasis on HPC schedulers and resource management. The candidate should have 10+ years in integration roles (or 15 years without a degree) plus a Bachelor’s degree, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience with integrating and supporting COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous OS environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; five years can substitute for degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
• Experience with HPC GOTS schedulers and resource management software.
• Unix/Linux/Windows system knowledge; strong troubleshooting and CM skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for HPC software across UNIX, Linux, Windows systems.
• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
• Maintain system installations and work with HPC schedulers and resource managers.
• Perform structured troubleshooting across heterogeneous IT environments.
• Apply GCC compilers, multi-threaded and parallel processing techniques.
