Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is a leader in AI cloud infrastructure with a mission to make compute ubiquitous. We seek an architect to design ultra‑low‑latency data center networks for large‑scale GPU clusters, storage backends, and multi‑tenant environments across on‑prem and hybrid deployments.

You will shape topology, evaluate new network tech, and drive standards while mentoring engineers and partnering with compute/storag e teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years architecting high‑performance data center networks for AI/ML or cloud infra.
• Deep expertise with InfiniBand HDR/NDR and advanced Ethernet fabrics (RoCE, RDMA).
• Strong data center switching, congestion control, QoS, and VXLAN/EVPN familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Architect high‑performance networking solutions for ultra‑low latency and high bandwidth.
• Define topology for large GPU clusters, storage backends, and multi-tenant environments.
• Evaluate next‑gen networks (InfiniBand, 400G Ethernet) for AI workloads.
• Develop standards, designs, and roadmaps for multi‑site and hybrid setups.
• Lead with compute/storage architects to ensure end‑to‑end data flow and fault tolerance.
• Guide automation, telemetry, and provisioning strategies for ops visibility.
• Mentor engineers on network concepts and best practices.
