Jobot is seeking a Senior HPC Linux Systems Administrator (TS/SCI) to be on-site in Aberdeen, MD. You will manage HPC compute, network, and storage health, perform regular patching and OS upgrades, and ensure security posture is maintained while meeting SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health of HPC compute, network, and storage systems on-site.
• Plan and perform monthly patching, kernel updates and semiannual OS upgrades.
• Resolve support tickets and cases; troubleshoot and repair hardware.
• Maintain the required security posture and track SLA availability.

Job Details

You'll monitor and maintain the health of HPC compute, network, and storage systems on-site for a defense customer. That includes planning and performing monthly patching, kernel updates and semiannual OS upgrades; resolving support tickets and cases; troubleshooting and repairing hardware; maintaining the required security posture; and tracking availability against SLAs.

MUST HAVE:

• BS in a related field OR equivalent professional experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 8+ years of Linux systems administration experience
• CompTIA Security+
• Linux+, RHCSA, RHCE, or SUSE Certified Administrator

NICE TO HAVE:

• HPC or supercomputing systems administration (compute, interconnect, storage)
• Customer-facing technical consulting experience
• SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 experience
