Arlo Hotels in New York is seeking a dynamic Senior Staff Accountant to support the Director of Finance, provide training and supervision within the Finance Department, and ensure adherence to Arlo Hotels Financial Policies & Procedures. You will work closely with other departments, especially revenue and cash handling areas, to drive business performance.

The role requires 3+ years as a Staff Accountant, hospitality experience is a plus, and strong skills in Excel, Opera PMS, Micros POS, ADP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma and 3+ years in a staff accountant role.
• Hospitality accounting experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Opera, Micros, ADP, Oracle Fusion and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support the finance team in achieving departmental goals.
• Prepare timely financial reports and forecasts for management.
• Maintain internal controls to protect hotel assets and ensure accuracy of records.
• Oversee accounting records, payroll controls, and timely month‑end closes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on issues.
• Ensure the balance sheet reflects the hotel's assets and liabilities.
