Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Operations Manager to plan and direct hotel operations, focusing on improving productivity and efficiency in Food & Beverage and cross-department support. The role requires ensuring standards across lobby, mezzanine, and dining areas, while addressing guest requests and running shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Previous supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Operations and Senior Operations Manager with managing the Food & Beverage operation.
• Provide strong floor & kitchen presence to assist associates and guests.
• Provide all aspects of shift coverage in F&B operations as needed.
• Ensure lobby, mezzanine, and F&B areas meet Highgate standards of cleanliness and function.
• Handle guest requests and complaints during shift.
• Coach, train, and counsel hourly associates; administer discipline as needed.
• Prepare and distribute reports as required.
• Attend meetings to maintain morale and productivity.
