Job summary

AZ- Hampton Inn & Suites Happy Valley Phoenix North is seeking a Dual Hotel Engineer to lead maintenance and sustain guest comfort. As a member of the leadership team, you’ll drive preventive programs, oversee repairs, and manage in-house projects with a focus on safety and quality.

You’ll supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with contractors, and ensure the property looks its best—from guest rooms to grounds.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in hotel, building, apartment, or similar maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to implement and manage projects end-to-end.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing equipment.
• Experience operating a commercial pool, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance for equipment, guest rooms, and property infrastructure.
• Conduct minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Serve as project manager for in-house projects: gather proposals, coordinate schedules, ensure quality and budget.
• Secure and supervise outside contractors ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Maintain exterior property appearance, landscaping, parking areas, and pool/spa where applicable.
