Job summary

Solutions³ LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Host Based Systems Analyst IV to lead DFIR and proactive cyber hunting for a large government program. The role focuses on front line response to digital forensics, incident response, and mentoring forensic teams onsite.

You will write in-depth reports, coordinate data collection, and distill findings into executive summaries and technical reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in producing forensically sound duplicates of computer systems.
• Experience writing cyber investigative reports documenting DF findings.
• Experience analyzing cyber attacks and preserving chain of custody.
• Knowledge of data collection procedures and digital forensics workflows.
• Able to work across multiple sites and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic teams onsite and coordinate data collection.
• Provide technical guidance on data collection and forensic methods.
• Write detailed reports and perform peer reviews.
• Support analysis and mentoring on data collection and reporting.
• Lead preliminary investigations and coordinate incident response activities.
• Plan and direct examination of computer systems and artifacts.
• Summarize analytic findings for leadership.
• Explain methodologies and protocols to stakeholders.
• Track on-site incident response activities and report updates.
• Evaluate suspected malicious code.
