Job summary

Base One Technologies seeks a senior cyber forensics professional to oversee onsite engagements, lead forensic teams, and coordinate data collection and imaging operations across U.S. locations.

You will work with federal leads, write detailed investigative reports, and mentor junior staff. The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with DHS suitability, bring 8+ years of cyber forensic experience, and be proficient in forensic tools (Sleuth Kit/Autopsy, SIEMs, EDR).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DHS suitability required.
• 8+ years of direct cyber forensics investigations.
• Ability to create forensically sound duplicates and images.
• Ability to write cyber investigative reports.
• Experience analyzing cyber attacks.
• Knowledge of chain of custody procedures.
• Collaborate across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite engagements and lead forensic teams.
• Coordinate data collection and imaging operations.
• Provide technical guidance on data collection and investigations.
• Write detailed forensic reports and support peer reviews.
• Mentor junior personnel in data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Direct inventory, examination, and analysis of systems and artifacts.
• Distill findings into executive summaries and technical reports.
• Explain investigation methodologies to stakeholders.
• Track on-site incident response activities and update leadership.
• Travel to incident locations across the United States.
